CAMPBELLTOWN RSL CLUB
IS ABOUT COMMUNITY

We appreciate the opportunity to serve people who live locally and those who are proud members of the Club. We have been helping them for more than 50 years.

For this reason we support a diverse group of local community organisations through the ClubGRANTS program. The scheme is funded by a 1.5% gaming machine tax rebate by the NSW Government and administered by the Campbelltown City Council and Sector Connect. Campbelltown RSL Club is one of five local clubs which contribute to the local community.

If your local not for profit organisation is interested in receiving financial support contact the ClubGRANTS Program.

CLUB CURBS LONELINESS ONE CALL AT A TIME

In at time of the coronavirus crisis when being alone is our strongest defence, the question remains do we need to be lonely?

Well according to the team at the Cabra-Vale Diggers Group the answer is quite simply NO. Clubs play such a significant role in maintaining the social well-being for many of its members in the community. From the ladies that line up early morning to reserve their favourite bingo table to the elderly patron who’s highlight of his day is to be served his favourite cup of warm coffee from the staff members who knows him by name. These things, albeit trivial, are crucial to the existence of so many.

So, while the doors are closed for regular business, the team at Cabra-Vale Diggers Group have decided to maintain its role in the community by calling each member, one at a time, to simply ask the question, “how are you?”. This simple question has become a key to helping so many. From those who just love to chat, to those who have advised of their hardships and worries as they self-isolate from the community. “As the conversations evolve, we are discovering more personally the individual needs of our members and are acting accordingly, “said Boris Belevski, group CEO.
